Cuando sabemos que estamos pensando, diciendo o haciendo cosas que son enfermizas o improductivas, tenemos que hacer más que saber. Debe haber un genuino y amoroso apoyo por el "Ego" para hacer un cambio. Cambiar no quiere decir reemplazar un mal hábito por otro. No significa darnos golpes, o sentirnos culpables. Cambiar quiere decir removernos voluntariamente de la gente y del ambiente que nos apoya en permanecer achacosos. Cambiar significa identificar lo que estamos haciendo, reconociendo cuando lo estamos haciendo, y con suavidad guiarnos nosotros mismos para hacer algo más. Cambiar quiere decir no elaborar disculpas para nosotros mismos, sino hacer exactamente lo que decimos que haremos. Cuando nos apoyamos en hacer los cambios que son necesarios, estamos apoyando nuestro propio crecimiento. Crecer es el compromiso de ser, de hacer y de tener lo mejor.

When we know we are thinking, saying or doing things thare unhealthy or unproductive, we have to do more than know. There must be a genuine, loving support for the "self" to make a change. Change does not mean replacing one bad habit for another. It does not mean beating on ourselves or feeling guilty or ashamed. Change means voluntarily removing ourselves from the people and environment that support us in remaining unhealthy. Change means identyfing what we are doing, recognizing when we are doing it and gently guiding ourselves to do something else. Change means not making excuses for ourselves, but doing exactly what we say we will do. When we support ourselves in making needed changes, we are supporting our own growth. Growth is the commitment to being, doing and having the best.
