Todos llegamos a un punto donde nos sentimos confundido e indecisos. Parece que no podemos figurarnos qué es lo que deseamos o qué es lo que vamos a hacer. Lo queremos todo, pero nada nos satisface. Nuestro espíritu está inquieto porque la mente está corriendo. Pudiera no ser que no lo sepamos; es que probablemente tenemos miedo de pedir. Pudiera ser como si estuviésemos corriendo hacia algo, pero la realidad es que nos estamos escapando. En esas ocasiones necesitamos sentarnos, quedarnos quietos y únicamente evaluar qué es lo que queremos. Debemos hacer esto tranquilamente, honestamente y si es necesario, hacerlo con frecuencia Somos seres humanos bendecidos con el poder de la razón. Tenemos, en todos los momentos, el derecho y el poder de examinar qué es lo que deseamos. Una vez que eso está hecho, debemos tener el coraje para pedirlo. Si permitimos que el color de nuestra piel, la raza a la que pertenecemos, el género que expresamos o las maneras del mundo nos limiten, seremos negados para siempre. Escoger una manera y pedirla, es algo que nos debemos a nosotros mismos.. Una vez que pedimos, podemos descansar.

We all get to a point where we feel confused and indecisive. We can't seem to figure out what we want or what to do. We want everything, but nothing brings satisfaction. Our spirit is restless because the mind is racing. It may not be that we don't know, it is probably that we are afraid to ask. We may feel as if we are running to something, but actually we are running away. In those times we need to sit down, get still and evaluate just what it is we want. We must do this quietly, honestly and often, if necessary. We are human beings, blessed with the power of reason. We have, at all times, the right and the power to figure out what we want. Once that's done, we must have the courage to ask it. If we let the color of our skin, the race we belong to, the gender we express or the ways of the world limit us, we will forever be denied. We owe it to ourselves to choose a way and ask for it. Once we ask, we can rest.
"Today I plan to choose and ask an open mind".
