¿Podemos ver, oír y hablar? ¿Podemos caminar, movernos alrededor y hacer las cosas por nosotros mismos? ¿Comimos hoy? ¿Podemos levantar un teléfono? ¿Podemos prender una luz? ¿Podemos meter una llave en una puerta y tener un lugar para dormir? ¿Están nuestros pies cubiertos adecuadamente? ¿Tenemos algo para usar? ¿Están funcionando nuestros pulmones y nuestros riñones? ¿Podemos respirar sin ayuda? ¿Podemos mover nuestras manos, nuestros brazos, nuestras piernas y hacer las cosas que queremos hacer? ¿Hay alguien que nos ayudará si necesitamos ayuda? ¿Hay alguien de quien recibimos amor?¿Hay alguien que conocemos que estará allí no importa lo que hayamos hecho? ¿Podemos reír cuando lo queremos hacer? ¿Podemos llorar si lo necesitamos? ¿Conoce nuestra mente la diferencia entre los dos? ¿Hay un árbol que podamos tocar? ¿Una flor que podamos oler? ¿Podemos pararnos en los rayos del sol? Demos gracias por cada "sí" que podamos responder y recordémosnos a nosotros mismos que verdaderamente estamos bendecidos.

Can we see, hear and speak? Can we walk, move around and do things for ourselves? Did we eat today? Can we pick up a telephone? Turn on a light? Stick a key in a door and have a place to sleep? Are our feet adequately covered? Do we have something to wear? Are our lungs and kidneys functioning? Can we breathe without assistance? Can we move our hands, arms, legs and do the things we want to do? Is there someone from whom we receive love? Is there someone we know who will be there no matter what we have done? Can we laugh when we want to? Cry if we need to? Does our mind let we know the difference between the two? Is there a tree we can touch? A flower we can smell? Can we stand in the rays of the sun? Let us give thanks for every "yes" we can answer and remind ourselves that we are truly blessed.
