¿Nos podemos imaginar a nosotros mismos ahora mismo sin hacer lo que estamos haciendo en nuestras vidas, sino haciendo algo completamente diferente? ¿Algo excitante , divertido, incluso arriesgado , como renunciar a nuestro trabajo y viajar alrededor del mundo. O trabajar parte del tiempo y asistir a la escuela tiempo completo a estudiar piano o a aprender a tocar guitarra. O teniendo nuestra propia casa, nuestro propio negocio, aeroplano o bote? Si podemos imaginarlo, ¿por qué entonces no lo estamos haciendo? Os diré por qué. Porque en el momento en que pensamos acerca de ello, pensamos también en todas las razones que tenemos para no hacerlo: "¿Cómo pagaré mis cuentas?" "¿Quién cuidará de mi familia?" "¿En dónde conseguiré dinero?" "¿Qué dirá la gente?". Pues bien, aquí está otra pregunta para nosotros: ¿Cómo esperamos ser felicies o estar en paz alguna vez en la vida si permanecemos donde estamos? ¿Si no nos permitimos a nosotros mismos soñar, atrevernos, movernos hacia arriba, hacia afuera o hacia adelante¿ ¿Cómo sabremos alguna vez qué es lo que realmente somos capaces de hacer? Mirémoslo de esta manera...¿Qué es lo peor que pudiera pasar? Podríamos terminar ahí mismo donde comenzamos, haciendo exactamente lo que estamos haciendo.

Recordad que uno de los placeres más grandes en la vida es hacer lo que la gente dice que no podemos hacer. Cordialmente,

Can we imagine not doing what we're doing in our life right now, but doing something completely different? Something exciting, fun, even risky, like quitting our job and traveling around the world. Or working part-time and going to school full time to study piano or learning to play guitar. Or owning our own home, business, plane or boat. If we can imagine it, why aren't we doing it? I'll tell you why. Because the moment we think about it, we think about all the reasons we can't. "How will I pay my bills?' "Who will take care of my family" "Where will I get money?" "What will people say?' Well, here's another question for us: How do we ever expect to be happy or at peace if we stay where we are?If we don't allow ourselves to dream, to dare, to move up, out, forward; how will we ever know what we are really capable of? Let us look at it this way...What's the worse that could happen? We could end up right where we started, doing exactly what we are doing.
