No podemos llegar al final desde la mitad. No hallaremos el principio al final. No importa lo que hagamos, existe un proceso. Bien sea que la posición sea positiva o negativa, debemos ir a través del proceso. Cuando nos apuramos no captamos etapas importantes. Si nos llegamos a impacientar, podemos dejar de ver detalles. Tenemos que estar dispuestos a movernos etapa por etapa, pulgada por pulgada para llegar al final. No hay manera de apurar el proceso. Cuando estamos excitados queremos ver cómo terminará una situación. Cuando la situación es desagradable, deseamos que termine pronto. Si es la ansiedad o es el miedo, la anticipación de los beneficios o el dolor, no importa lo que hagamos, debemos tener la voluntad para hacerlo una etapa a la vez.

We cannot get to the end from the middle. We won't find the beginning at the end. No matter what we are doing, there is a process. Whether the situation is positive or negative, we must go through the process. When we rush ahead we miss important steps. If we become impatient, we can overlook details. We must be willing to move step by step, inch by inch to get to the end. There is no way to rush the process. When we are excited, we want to see how a situation will end. When the situation is unpleasant, we want it to end quickly. Whether anxiety or fear, the anticipation of benefits or pain, no matter what we do, we must be willing to do it one step at a time.
